Element Metal Finishes color oxidizers instantly oxidizes metal upon contact giving you the color finish of choice. Element Metal Finishes offers 8 color oxidizers; Copper Plate, Rainbow Torch, Gun Metal Blue, Dark Pewter, Light Pewter, Midnight Black, Antique Red Brown, and Brown Tarnish.
Surface Preparation: Steel must be completely clean and dry, free of all loose particles, dirt debris and other contaminants that could inhibit oxidizing effect.
Coverage: Up to 250 sq ft./gallon. Coverage will vary depending on the application technique and the reapplication cycles of the color oxidizer applied. The above coverage rates are estimates and will vary.
Recommend to test the color oxidizer on small surface before application.
Storage: Store product in cool area and not in direct sunlight. When properly sealed and stored, the shelf life is up to 1 year.

Light Pewter
1. Clean the steel. (Sandblast or grind)
2. Immerse or spray the steel with the Dark or Light Pewter solution. 3. The more solution applied to steel the darker the finish.
4. Rinse steel with water.
5. While steel is wet, spray on Rust Arrest and let it work for at least 15 seconds. 6. Rinse steel with water.
7. Dry completely with compressed air.
8. Seal with Element Metal Finishes Matte or Gloss Acrylic Sealer.
