Element Metal Finishes oxidizer instantly oxidizes metal upon contact. Element Metal Finishes offers 3 different shades of rust, with each finish you will note a marginal difference. Auburn Rust is the darkest rust (red/brown rust) followed by Copper Rust. Gold Rust will have a gold rust finish less red/brown rust.

Surface Preparation: Surface must be completely clean and dry, free of all loose particles, dirt debris and other contaminants that could inhibit oxidizing effect.

Coverage: Up to 250 Sq Ft per gallon. Coverage will vary depending on the application technique. The above coverage rates are estimates and will vary.

For Best Results: Apply Element Metal Finishes MATTE or GLOSS SEALER. Gloss Sealer will darken the finish. If surface is not sealed or Rust Arrest applied it will continue to oxidize with time.

Variables in achieving the rust design are dependent on humidity, water exposure, metal surface, and use of neutralizing agent and/or sealer.

Storage: Store product in cool area and not in direct sunlight. When properly sealed and stored, the shelf life is up to 1 year.

Packaging: Available in 1 gallon, 32 oz, and 8 oz.
